Some extensions of the component maintenance priority

If a component in binary system fails, preventive maintenance (PM) on other components may be conducted while the failed is being repaired. This raises question which should selected for PM if resource limited. The can answered by using priority (CMP) to prioritise PM. paper extends definition of CMP cases multi-state systems, continuum systems and non-coherent respectively. It investigates applications proposed measures optimisation policies proposes algorithms minimise cost. A case study used instantiate validity measures.
